Mission: The HeartLight Community Event Venue is a community outreach program of HeartLight Spiritual Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit religious organization. We offer our beautiful, sacred space for occasional life events—such as weddings, baby showers, memorials, and other special gatherings—to help foster connection, celebration, and joy within our local community. By providing this space, we aim to make meaningful moments accessible to more families while increasing awareness of HeartLight’s spiritual message of hope. All proceeds are reinvested into property upkeep and directly support HeartLight’s mission.
A hidden gem in the University City area of Charlotte, HeartLight Community Life Event Venue offers three beautiful spaces surrounded by lush greenery, flower gardens, and natural tranquility — perfect for life’s most meaningful celebrations.
Whether you’re planning an intimate wedding, a milestone celebration, or a spiritual gathering, HeartLight provides warm hospitality, flexible options, and spaces that feel personal, peaceful, and inviting.
We offer three unique event spaces designed to accommodate intimate to mid-size gatherings:
The Light House
A charming, renovated 110-year-old craftsman home perfect for intimate gatherings. With original hardwood floors, neutral wall tones, indoor/outdoor seating, a prep kitchen with a large island, and a spacious wrap-around porch overlooking our secret garden, the Light House provides a warm, welcoming atmosphere for up to 50 guests.
The Sanctuary
A 1,000 sq ft carpeted indoor space ideal for weddings, workshops, meetings, and ceremonies. With theater seating for up to 75 or buffet seating for up to 50, and full A/V capabilities, the Sanctuary is perfect for both elegant ceremonies, celebrations, and professional presentations. It is connected to the Light House via a covered ramp for convenience and accessibility.
The Oasis Center – DEDICATED in 2025
